  An inspiring pastor who has helped me personally to grow spiritually and a warm community that truly seeks to be examples of Jesus's love to the world. There are many wonderful opportunities to serve the broader community offered by New Life, whether its growing fresh produce for the food shelf in the Seeds of Hope community garden, serving as a volunteer for the emergency homeless shelter they host through Project Home in April, distributing backpacks of food to elementary kids through Sheridan Story, building homes through Habitat for Humanity, selling pumpkins in October to support their youth mission trips, or offering a holiday fair trade market to support artisans paid a fair wage for their products. New Life is an earth care congregation that has recently passed a resolution to work towards carbon neutrality, a member of the sanctuary support network of ISAIAH, and part of the Covenant Network of Presbyterians working towards a fully inclusive church. All of these things speak to the core message of Jesus, which I do feel the folks at New Life do embrace: that whatever we do to the least of our brothers and sisters, it's as if we've done it to Jesus.

  Very beautiful church. Great congregation, and community. Pastor Riz is a great pastor, very friendly and wise beyond his years. There is wonderful education for youth and adults. The church is an earth care congregation and they are always doing their part to make the world a better place.

  It has an outgoing congregation with many innovative community projects including
